It's tough to be a cat - C'est dur d'être un chat

First, thank you all for your kind comments about Stacy.  I really don't want this to be a sad blog, so I am going to share with you some pictures.
D'abord merci à toutes pour vos gentils commentaires à propos de Stacy.  Je ne vraiment pas que ce soit un blog triste, alors je vais vous montrer quelques photos.

This is what some of us did last Saturday:

Meanwhile, I did some spinning.  I am currently spinning the moorit Shetland.  It is so soft and nice to spin!  The picture shows you the single.  I now have about 400 yds of 2 ply yarn made and I'm guessing it is a little bit thicker than lace weight but I haven't actually measured it.
Et pendant ce temps j'ai fait du filage.  Je suis en train de filer le Shetland moorit.  Il est si doux et agréable à filer!  La photo vous montre un brin seul.  J'ai maintenant environ 400 yards de laine 2 brins et je devine qu'elle est un peu plus épaisse que laceweight mais je ne l'ai pas mesurée.

I can't wait for tomorrow to be here because I'm going to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival!  I've been there before but this year is going to be the first time I will be there with a spinner's view on things.  I would like to buy at least a white fleece, but we'll see.  Have a nice weekend!
Je suis impatiente d'être à demain parce que je vais aller au Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival!  J'y suis déjà allée dans le passé, mais cette année sera la premiere fois que j'y vais avec un oeil de fileuse.  J'aimerais acheter au moins une toison blanche, mais on verra bien.  Bon weekend!
