Sad - Triste

Last night was pretty bad: one kitten was hit and killed by a car. He was one of Snicker's kitten . He didn't have any name, but it doesn't mean that he wasn't loved. I can't help but love and get attached to every cat or kitten that come to our porch....

Berribonned Eyelets Sweater

I have been playing with wool and colors. I spun some of the Romney in the grease. I just love the natural color variations. I then used my Gaywool dyes to dye some of it with the Tomato color and some with the Aster. This is how it turned out: from left...

Sigga

I actually completed this shawl a couple of weeks ago, but I have been trying to figure out how to take a picture of it... it is kind of big. The pattern is Sigga from "Faroese Knitting Patterns - Knitted Shawls" translated by Marilyn van Keppel; well...

Broken Toe - Orteil Cassé :(

We got home Friday from work to find Six Toe walking on three paws only. Obviously something was wrong with his front left paw. After inspection, we didn't find any open wound. We called the vet and were able to get an appointment for the following morning....

Fiber stash

Thanks to my spinning mentor Elaine I am now the proud owner of my own fiber stash. This is what I acquired: 1/2 white fleece (unknown breed), 1/2 colored Romney fleece (Elaine said that it didn't behave like typical Romney though), some black, roomit...
